Adoption Timeline

Nov 8, 10- St Lucy's to get Kai
October 2010 - Travel Date Received
August 2010 - 1st Decree Received
May 2010 - Dossier sent to Taiwan
April 2010 - USCIS approval!
April 2010 - Fingerprints taken at USCIS
March 2010 - All paperwork sent to Olympia to have authenticated.
March 2010 - one last piece of paperwork is needed for our dossier.
March 2010 - USCIS sent fingerprint appointment letter. The local office received everything. Very happy; even though we had to reschedule
Feb/Mar 2010 - sent paperwork to USCIS for a free extension. Crossed my fingers everything would go smoothly.
February 2010 - accepted referral of baby boy from Taiwan
January 2010 - dossier items are old and need to start updating
2009 - Waiting and more waiting
July 2008 - officially on waitlist with Heartsent for baby from Taiwan
2007 - started adoption journey which had to be stopped and restarted with a new agency (at a later date)
